Why Salsa: Why not?! It’s a healthy addiction. You get exercise. You learn so much. You grow as a dancer. You meet great people. You become a part of an awesome and irreplaceable community! What’s not to love?
Tips For New Casineros: When you’re first learning to dance, you’re memorizing steps 1-2-3-tap, 5-6-7-tap. After a while you need to stop counting and let the music tell you what to do. That’s when you’ll really start having fun! Dance with EVERYONE! Especially the people you’re afraid to dance with. You’re guaranteed to learn something. Lastly, ladies, it was hard for me too, but let the guy lead. That’s the only way its going to work. The best part is that if anything goes wrong, you can blame him in the end!
